The Type II Diabetes book I recommend

I start ever blog post with this statement BECAUSE I want you to understand I am not a doctor, I do not have any medical training, and everything I publish is MY PERSONAL experience. What has happened to me may not happen for you. I  encourage you to click on the link above and buy the book Glycemic Load Diabetes Solution. From all my  research this was the most valuable tool I used to reverse my Type II Diabetes.

Notice I said "reverse my type II diabetes". There is no known cure for type II diabetes. Medical science does not understand exactly what causes this horrible disease. I call it "horrible" because most people with type II diabetes do not know they are sick and are dieing slowly  because they feel OK. I had blood sugar readings of over 280 and felt just fine. It was not until I started taking all the medicine prescribed by my family doctor that I started feeling bad (and still had high blood sugar). That is when I started looking for another way.

After reading Glycemic Load Diabetes Solution  I told my doctor (who I really respect) I was going to get off the medicine and control my diabetes with diet and exercise. His response; "It will not work and you will be back on all the medicine". After six months of diet and exercise I went back to my doctor and he said "I have never had a patient show this much improvement"! He still thinks this will be short turnaround because he refilled the only diabetic drug I told him I still take (even with a normal A1C).

I continue to take Glimepiride 2 mg. two times a day. If I skip the pill at night my blood sugar reading is always 20 to 30 points higher than if I take it. I feel no side effects from this drug so I continue to take it.

If you are a type II diabetic I URGE you to click on the link above and order the book  Glycemic Load Diabetes Solution.  You owe it to yourself to get educated about your problem. The reason my doctor thinks I have not discovered a long term solution is most people will not stick to the diet and exercise. You have to give up eating all starches. Starches are what peaks your blood sugar almost before you finish eating. When your blood sugar peaks it is harder to get it to come down with the amount of insulin your body is using. Solution- DO NOT peak your blood sugar to start with. This is what the book teaches along with much more.
